Curator of Master Program Genetic resources in livestock (professional direction) is an associate professor Lytvynenko T.V.
The program includes the following courses: Population genetics, Special genetics, and Informational systems in animals breeding, Renewal of livestock genetic resources, Animals Reproduction Bio-technology, Special Selection, and Organization of livestock breeding.
The program provides knowledge of the genetic basis of selection, practical skills in using theoretical foundations of genetic and mathematical analysis in breeding programs for the species and breeds of agricultural animals. It sets forth theoretical and practical foundations of embryo-biotechnology, renewal features of different animal species, indicating ways of preventing infertility and increase fertility. It also reveals the essence of acts and regulations that govern the general legal, economic and organizational basis of livestock breeding.
Training facilities: teaching and research farms of NULES of Ukraine (Vorzel, Agronomic research centre, Muzychenko Velyka Snitynka, Nemishaieve agro-technical college), tribal factories and reproducers of all livestock industries.
Curator of master program Animals breeding and selection (research orientation) is an associate professor Lytvynenko T.V.
The program includes the following courses: Modern methods of genetic research, Population and special genetics, Animals’ biology, Organization of livestock breeding.
The program provides knowledge of the genetic basis of laboratory and population genetic studies, a working knowledge of the theoretical foundations of biology, reproduction, animal breeding and selection, as well as economic and organizational basis of livestock breeding.
Training facilities: teaching and research farms of NULES of Ukraine (Vorzel, Agronomic research centre, Muzychenko Velyka Snitynka, Nemishaieve agro-technical college), tribal factories and reproducers of all livestock sectors and genetic laboratories.
Curator of master program Biotechnology (research orientation) is a Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, Professor Sheremeta V.I.
The program includes the following courses: Regulation of animals’ reproductive capacity and Embryo-technology.
The program provides knowledge and research skills of animals’ reproductive capacity and ways of regulation using bio-technological methods, teaching abilities to use theoretical foundations of reproduction biology and provides knowledge of modern embryo-technologies.
Training facilities: teaching and research farms of NULES of Ukraine (“Vorzel”, “Agronomic research centre”, “Velyka Snitynka named after Muzychenko”, “Nemishaieve agro-technical college”), breeding plants and reproducers of all livestock sectors and bio-technological laboratories.
