Laboratories
Classes with students are held in laboratories equipped with the necessary equipment and visual educational material:
1. Educational laboratory of computer technologies in animal feeding.
2. Educational laboratory of zootechnical analysis of feeds.
3. Educational laboratory of feed and feed additives technology.
4. Educational-scientific-production laboratory of animal nutrition and feed quality.
In the departmental information technology classroom, students of the Master's School of Applied Sciences work with the most modern software for optimizing the calculations of compound feeds and premixes - the WinMix 2.0 program, Shaumann NutriRat, Taurinum.
In 1998, a problem research laboratory of feed additives was created within the department, which in 2008 was reorganized into a problem research laboratory of animal nutrition, where research is conducted to improve the norms of energy, protein, amino acid and mineral nutrition of cattle, rabbits and birds.
