      Students and postgraduate students use one of the most modern software products WinMix in the departmental computer technology classroom to optimize animal rations. When writing dissertations and completing individual tasks, course and final papers, students and applicants use the departmental scientific library.

       Under the guidance of the department's teachers, more than 1,100 students of the Faculty of Technology of Production and Processing of Animal Husbandry Products have defended their diplomas and final theses.

       The scientific and pedagogical staff of the department have published 43 textbooks and teaching aids, 10 of which are on animal feeding for students of higher education educational institutions of III and IV levels of accreditation, 5 - for students of educational institutions of I and II levels of accreditation, as well as manuals for advanced training courses for livestock workers and various educational and methodological developments for students.

       Every year, the department's staff publishes monographs, recommendations for laboratory and practical classes, lecture notes, and work is underway to write a textbook.
