Research of the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine in the field of agricultural sciences is conducted at 12 education and research institutes of NULES of Ukraine, 13 research institutes of NULES of Ukraine, 24 problematic research laboratories, over 40 education, research and production centres equipped with the latest machinery. Research is coordinated by the leading scientists and undertaken by more than 300 researchers.

Performance indicators (criteria) that regulate research of the university

In 2013, as a result of extensive research the scientists of the university created:

-       96 new technologies and processes;

-       83 new types of equipment (construction machinery, devices, operating elements);

-       4 vaccines, serums, drugs;

-       2 varieties of crops;

-       37 chemicals;

    152 scientific developments were implemented, including 6 developments conducted at the Southern Branch of the NULES of Ukraine “Crimean Agrotechnical University”.

    Scientific developments of the university scientists were exhibited at 30 international and national exhibitions. For active participation in exhibitions the university received 5 gratitude awards and more than 180 diplomas.

    Scientific and pedagogical staff of the university continues to disseminate scientific and technical information on innovative achievements of scientists of NULES of Ukraine in the full-text database “Scientific and technical achievements of Ukraine”. Information is distributed in all regions of Ukraine and CIS countries, which significantly contributes to the establishment of scientific and technical ties.
