Organizing Committee for EAEVE Accreditation Discusses Strategic Development Plan through 2030

The Organizing Committee for accreditation by the European Association of Establishments for Veterinary Education (EAEVE) held a meeting at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine. These regular meetings, established as a tradition throughout 2024, are focused on ensuring the Faculty's successful European accreditation, culminating in the expert visitation scheduled for February 2025.

Chaired by the Dean of the Faculty, Academician of the NAAS of Ukraine Mykola Tsvilikhovskyi, the meeting on September 21 primarily addressed the development of the Faculty's Strategic Plan. According to EAEVE Standard Operating Procedures, such plans must cover a 3 to 5-year period. Following a comprehensive discussion, the committee decided to develop a 5-year strategic document. This plan will be aligned with the University’s overarching strategy and the "Holosiiv Initiative 2025," incorporating the Faculty's annual development targets.

The agenda also included the procurement of materials and equipment to support the Faculty’s biosecurity system. It was decided to optimize the procurement list in coordination with each Department Head within the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine.

Additionally, the committee addressed website management, specifically appointing a coordinator responsible for the English-language version of all accreditation-related materials. A full update of the website's relevant sections is planned for completion in October.

The next meeting of the Organizing Committee is scheduled for October.
