Department of foreign philology and translation: Erasmus+ academic mobility program is in operation
Students of NULES of Ukraine, studying under the educational program "German language and second foreign language", for several years in a row have the opportunity to take part in the academic mobility program Erasmus+, which is implemented in cooperation with the University of Pardubice (Czech Republic).
Project coordinator from the Czech University Jan Chapek has repeatedly visited our university, met with students, and gave lectures. Unfortunately, the conditions and restrictions of wartime prevented Mr. Chapek from coming this semester to conduct practical classes in German and lexicology of the German language. It was also planned to discuss further cooperation within the framework of Erasmus + program. Therefore, such a working meeting was held in Pardubice University. Its main result was the preparation of documents for submission for the continuation of this program. We hope for a positive decision, and then many more of our students will have the opportunity to study at a foreign university, improve their knowledge of foreign languages, establish contacts and communicate with their peers from other countries.
It is worth noting that during the meeting with Czech and German teachers, all of them spoke very approvingly about our students who studied at the University for a semester or two in Pardubice University. The current fourth-year student Sofia Salnykwas particularly noted. Now there are two third-year students in Pardubice – Olexandra Butriy and Anastasiia Pidhayko who also show academic success. By the way, it is interesting that both of them did not study German at school, but began to study it at the University, having entered the specialty "Philology (German)". Thanks to hard work, perseverance and responsibility, the girls managed to achieve a level of German language proficiency that allowed them to pass the competitive selection process for participation in the Erasmus+ program.
Therefore, we wish our students further success, and we invite school leavers to join our university family and enroll in the educational program "German and a second foreign language", which offers such excellent prospects.
