The Production and Investment Management Department participates in ERASMUS projects

9 лютого 2023 року

The professors of the Production and Investment Management Department traditionally start the new year 2023 with participation in international projects. Thus, from January 16 to 28, 2023, as part of the implementation of the Jean Monnet Chair "Social and Cultural Aspects of European Studies" (SCAES), the II International Winter School "Social Dimensions of European Studies" was held. Among the organizers of the event there was the Production and Investment Management Department.

Despite the new challenges that we face today, the Winter School was able to unite more than 300 participants from various educational institutions of Ukraine, who are now in different countries. From the Production and Investment Management Department the participants of the international winter school became: project coordinator from NUBiP of Ukraine, Doctor of Economics, Professor, Acting Head of the of Production and Investment Management Department Maryna M. Dielini, the co-chairman of the organizing committee of the winter school was Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Doctor of Economics, Professor Lidiia V. Shynkaruk, PhD in Economics, Associate Professors Tetianа Vlasenko , Tetiana Artyukh , Tetiana LobunetsMikhailo Sverdan and PhD in Public Administration Anna Dergach and Kateryna Alekseieva. Scientists from other departments of the Faculty of Agrarian Management and other structural subdivisions of NUBiP of Ukraine also took part. The winter school was organized by the Production and Investment Management Department together with its permanent partners and the coordinator of this project: Professor and academic coordinator of the Jean Monet SCAES Department Mariia Nesterova, who represents Ukrainian State University named after Mykhailo Drahomanov, as well as the European expert of the project, Professor Diana Spulber of the University of Genoa.

The school's program included the study of various social dimensions of European policies. For Ukraine this has always been relevant, but it is currently becoming more acute due to the need to learn from the experience of the EU and other developed European countries and to overcome crisis situations in Ukraine during the war, as well as to form an adequate social policy of Ukraine as a candidate country for EU membership. Thus, within the school, aspects of European social policy were studied, the social model of Europe was studied separately, the study of the European policy of social cohesion became important, as an important policy for considering the interests of various population groups in the EU and balancing the main disparities in their development. The course "European practices of socio-cultural design" became especially relevant for us, as specialists in project management, which reveals the opportunities provided by EU funds in this direction. Other courses of the winter school also become a valuable basis for strengthening the knowledge base in various aspects of the social policy of European countries. Upon completion of the II International Winter School "Social Dimensions of European Studies", all participants received their certificates and noted the high level of organization and conduct of similar events.
