Master programmes

       Training of masters at the Department of Aquaculture spend specialty 8.09020101 - "Water Bioresources". Students take specialized training for  two production directions ("The sturgeon fish farming", "Pond fish farming") and the research direction ("Selection of fish farming facilities").  

Master program "The sturgeon fish farming"

There is training of future specialists for working on the state and commercial sturgeon fish farms and research institutions of the fishing industry of the State Agency of Fisheries of Ukraine, and so on.

Master program includes four disciplines:

1. Biotechnology of sturgeon fish farming

2. Selection of objects of sturgeon fish farming

3. Biology of sturgeon productivity

4. Sturgeon pond fish farming 

Master program "Pond fish farming"

There is training of future professionals for working on the pond fish farming (nurseries, product and complete systems of pond fish farms) and research institutions of the fishing industry of Ukraine, and so on.

Master program includes four disciplines:

1. Modern technologies of cultivation of non-traditional facilities for ponds fish farming

2. Biology of ponds fishes

3. Selection of pond fishes

4. Modern technologies for pond fish farming

Master program "Selection of fish farming facilities"

There is training of future professionals for selection and breeding of fishes. They will work in the research institutions of fishing industry, in the Ministry of Agriculture and the State Agency of fisheries of Ukraine, in specialized breeding fish farms and the selection and breeding areas of commercial fish farms of different ownership.

Master program includes four disciplines:

1. Modern methods of selection of fishes in aquaculture

2. Research methods in selection of fishes

3. Biological productivity of fish farming facilities

4. Selection of fish farming facilities
