Postgraduate studies
The history of postgraduate studies is inseparably linked to the development of the Department of Philosophy and International Communication and the educational institution. Common traditions of formation of postgraduate education at the Department as a basic link in the higher school are certainly an important factor that positively influences the scientific, educational and methodological, educational process in NUBiP of Ukraine.
Postgraduate study at the Department of Philosophy goes back to the 60s of the twentieth century. From 1963 to 1970s the Philosophy Department was chaired by the honored worker of the USSR higher school, Ph.D, Professor Lohvin M. A. who created at the Department the school of philosophy for research of problems of the modern natural science. Also under his guidance postgraduate studies were started at the Department of Philosophy, and Professor M. A. Lohvin personally prepared more than ten candidates of philosophical sciences. Thus, in his time as a postgraduate were associate professor Priymak A.G., professors Chernii A.M., and Maksyuta M.E., who now works at the Department, continuing the work of his teacher.
The educational and scientific traditions of the Philosophy Department, which began more than half a century ago, are developed and continued by the program's guarantor, Ph.D, Professor Vira Dodonova.
