Students of the Faculty of Agricultural Management obtained double degree diplomas of the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra
On June 6, 2019, Dean of the Faculty of Agricultural Management, Anatoliy Ostapchuk took part in the official ceremony of awarding Master's degree diplomas at the Faculty of Economics and Management of the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra. Currently 14 NUBiP students are studying under double degree diploma program at the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra.
This year four students of the Faculty of Agricultural Management, namely Yelyzaveta Synetska, Andriy Potapenko, Petro Chulkov and Mykola Dereva successfully defended their master theses. Mykola Dereva graduated with honors and received a Master's Degree in Business Economics and Management and the Honor of the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Management, Professor Elena Horská.
Only 13 people were honored with this distinction among all university graduates.
Anatoliy Ostapchuk highlighted that students of the Faculty of Agricultural Management have a unique opportunity to obtain competences, knowledge and skills while studying under double degree diploma programs.
This year there are a few NUBiP students willing to join international bachelor and master degree programs.
It is pleasant that the high level of training of our graduates was noted by the administration of the Faculty of Economics and Management of the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra. Mykola Dereva and Yelyzaveta Synetska were offered scholarships and grants to continue training in English PhD programs.

As a part of the visit, Dean of the Faculty of Agricultural Management, Anatoliy Ostapchuk and coordinator of international programs, Olena Kovtun, met with Slovak counterparts to discuss the possibilities of further cooperation.
University representatives had a working meeting with Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Management, prof. Dr. Ing. Elena Horská. The meeting was devoted to signing the double degree bachelor diploma program. The participants of the meeting also discussed the issues of everyday life of new students, as well as administrative technicalities of English bachelor program ‘International Trade with Agrarian Commodities’ and master’s program ‘Business Economics and Management’. Elena Horská invited representatives of the Faculty of Agricultural Management to celebrate the 60th Anniversary of the Faculty of Economics and Management, which will take place on October 01, 2019 in Nitra.
Afterwards NUBiP representatives met with the President of the Visegrad University Association, Prof. Dr. Peter Belik, who is now the Chairman of the International Council of AgriMBA ICA. The topics under consideration included current issues of the International Master’s Degree Program AgriMBA and fulfillment of all conditions for obtaining the Diploma AgriMBA ICA. At the end of June 2019, the AgriMBA congress will take place in Ulan Bator, Mongolia. Next year, the International Master’s Degree course AgriMBA ICA will be re-accredited at NUBiP of Ukraine and must meet all the requirements, including preparation and defense of master's theses in English.
At the end of the visit, the Head of the Office for Project Activities and Technology Transfer, Dr. Danka Moravchikova met with NUBiP representatives. Participants of the meeting discussed opportunities for future joint project work and signed a Cooperation Agreement as a part of the project ‘Made in Danube - Transnational Cooperation to Transform Knowledge into Marketable Products and Services for the Danube Sustainable Society for Tomorrow’.
