Establishment and activity of Global Fire Monitoring Center (GFMC)

New article in issue #77 of Fire Management Today: An international effort: the history of the Global Fire Monitoring Center (GFMC) - longtime partner of National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine and Education and Research Institute of Forestry and Landscape-Park Management; role of professor Johann Georg Goldammer in global enhancement of forest protection against fires, namely in Eastern Europe - where Regional East Europ Fire Monitoring Center operates.
