Educational work
The department conducts educational work according to the degree system: Bachelors and Masters.
Specialties that supplying of "Bachelor" degree are 201 "Agronomy", 202 "Protection and quarantine of plants", 203 "Horticulture and viticulture", 051 "Economics", 071 "Accounting and taxation", 072 "Finance, banking and insurance", 076 "Entrepreneurship, trade and exchange activity", 208 "Agroengineering", 015.37 "Professional education".
The disciplines that supplying of department for "Bachelor" degree:
- "Technology of storage and processing of crop products";
- "Technology of storage and processing of fruits and vegetables";
- "Technological examination of crop products";
- "Standardization and quality management of crop production";
- "Winemaking and expertise of wine".
The new disciplines that supplying of department for Master’s degree:
- "Logistics and innovations of handling, storage and processing of crop products";
- "Technological audit of storage and processing of crop production";
- "Techno-chemical control of crop products";
- "Material and technical base for storage and processing of crop products";
- "Energy-saving technologies at the storage and processing of crop products";
- "Quality and logistics during storage and processing of fruits and vegetables";
- "Quality and logistics of crop production at the modern farming systems."
The department employments supplying the disciplines for students of the "Bachelor" degree (the second higher education) for specialty 201 "Agronomy": "Technology of storage and processing of crop products", "Technological examination of crop products".
On the lectures, laboratory and practical classes are utilizing new methods and methodological approaches to students' study of the disciplines, during the educational process. The 30 electronic training courses have been developed on the basis on elearn.nubip.edu.ua platform and 25 from them were certified. It is especially necessary in the conditions of a pandemic and the transition to a distance or mixed forms of education.
The department is the graduation department of the Agrobiology Faculty and annually graduates about 25 students of the "Bachelor" degree and 15 of the "Master" degree. The laboratory and practical classes for students conducted in the educational laboratories: "Storage, processing and quality assessment of crop products", "Technological and techno-chemical control crop products".
