The scientific student circle "Current problems of standardization and quality and safety management of agricultural products and production" was established in 2003 at the Department of Standardization and Certification of Agricultural Products.
The goal of the scientific student club "Current Issues of Standardization and Quality and Safety Management of Agricultural Products" and "Production is to train highly qualified specialists in the specialty" 175 Information and Measurement Technologies, educational program Quality, Standardization and Certification and 181 Food Technologies in the field of knowledge that will help resolve issues related to the harmonization of national standards to international levels for food and the technology for its production and processing; improving the requirements of national standards for management systems that would ensure the rational use of resources and meet the high requirements for product quality in agricultural production; promoting among producers and specialists the scientific and practical principles of quality management as the basis for the systematic and effective development of the industry; improving the procedure for third-party conformity assessment in order to provide consumers with an accurate assessment of the object of study.
The club meetings are held according to the annual work plan. The club members are full-time and part-time students majoring in 175 Information and Measurement Technologies, educational program Quality, Standardization and Certification, 181 Food Technologies.
Approximately 76 students studying at the Department of Standardization and Certification of Agricultural Products of the Master's program participate in the scientific circle annually. They actively participate in scientific conferences, preparing abstracts and reports on research results, writing professional articles, actively attending exhibitions, webinars, professional development courses, competitions, and Olympiads in their chosen specialty.

PUBLICATION OF ABSTRACTS:
XIII International Scientific and Practical Conference of Scientists, Postgraduates, and Students "Scientific Achievements in Solving Current Problems of Raw Material Production and Processing, standardization and food safety", which took place on April 10-11, 2025, at the Faculty of Food Technology and Quality Management of Agricultural Products of the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine.

IV International Scientific and Practical Internet Conference “Quality and Safety of Products in Domestic and Foreign Trade: Current Development Vectors and Prospects", held on October 15, 2024.

1. Practical aspects of compliance with food legislation requirements by educational institutions;
2. Implementation of HACCP-based procedures in educational institutions' food service facilities;
3. Food safety: current legislation, conscientious producers, responsible consumers.
4. Academic integrity at the university.


Club members have the opportunity to undergo international internships in Germany at one of the best companies, Allfein Feinkost GmbH & Co. KG, a subsidiary of Wiesenhof, part of the PHW Group, one of the largest companies in the German food industry. The main facilities are engaged in the production and marketing of high-quality poultry meat, such as chicken, turkey, and duck, under the WIESENHOF brand. During their internship at Allfein Feinkost GmbH & Co. KG, club members have the opportunity to work in all areas of the business, from receiving raw materials to storing and shipping finished products to points of sale.
Graduates who are members of the club hold management positions in the quality departments of processing enterprises, pharmaceutical manufacturers, retail chains, the State Food and Consumer Service of Ukraine, the National Standardization Body, the International Finance Corporation, etc.
