Prof. Sergiy Zibtsev took part in a field meeting on liquidation of the consequences of large forest fires that occurred in 2020 in Luhansk oblast

March 12, 2021 prof. Sergiy Zibtsev, Head of Regional Eastern Europe Fire Monitoring Center, took part in an on-site meeting on "Issues of liquidation of consequences of large forest fires that occurred in 2020, afforestation of forest land plots enterprises belonging to the sphere of management of the State Forest Agency, to the fire-hazardous period of 2021 ", which took place under the leadership of the Chairman of State Agency of Forest Resources of Ukraine Yuriy Bolokhovets.

Purpose of the working trip of the head of State Agency of Forest Resources of Ukraine Yuri Bolokhovets and heads of oblasts' forestry departments was to discuss issues related to the elimination of large forest fires that occurred in 2020, inspection of fires, ways of development for burned areas and, of course, afforestation of fire-affected areas and state of preparation of State Agency of Forest Resources of Ukraine for the fire-hazardous period of 2021.
