Representatives of Regional Eastern Europe Fire Monitoring Center took part in a Round Table "Reforestation of Luhansk region after fires: joint plans of Ukraine and international partners"

On December 21, 2020 at 14:00 in the mode of the Internet conference a Round Table devoted to the topic "Reforestation of Luhansk region after fires: joint plans of Ukraine and international partners" was attended by representatives of Regional Eastern Europe Fire Monitoring Center prof. Sergiy Zibtsev and Oleksandr Soshensky.

The purpose of the event was to discuss the current situation and prospects in the restoration of forests in Luhansk region after the fires of 2020, as well as to establish joint work of authorities, local governments and international partners of Ukraine.

The event is organized by the USAID Economic Support to Eastern Ukraine Project with the support of the Luhansk Regional State Administration - Regional Military-Civil Administration.

Representatives of the USAID Economic Support to Eastern Ukraine Project, United Nations Development Program, and United Nations FAO presented their work plans and expected results, as well as coordinated with representatives of the relevant central and local governments of Ukraine responsible for this work.
