Game-talk «Coffee with HR» for digital generation with Masters in Banking

February 2020 will be remember for the students of the Economics Faculty not only by starting their studies, but also as participating in a business game called «Coffee with HR» for the digital generation.
At the invitation from the Head of HR of «PrivatBank» (Central department, Pechersk Branch) Nelly Grebinichenko, masters of the «Banking» program took part in the event. The purpose of the event was to hold classes in a new format – on the territory of «PrivatBank» in the form of a business game, prepared by the bank's specialists. Students studied under the guidance of Assistant Professors of the Banking and insurance department – Оlena Zharikova and Ruslana Mamchur.

Teachers of the department actively use business games during the educational process in order to bring learning to practical activity. Various forms of expanding student communication with potential employers are constantly use, including workshops, coaching, business games and workshop-seminars.
A striking example of employers' collaboration with the university is the PrivatBank-developed business game «Digital practice for the digital generation», which gives an opportunity to see representatives of the digital generation in the active teamwork, negotiations, making decision in the conflict situations, defending their proposals and finding new ideas for a limited time.

Three teams from all over Ukraine, which will provide the best ideas for solving business game problems, will receive awards from the PrivatBank's Head-office. During the event, which lasted more than 3 hours, masters in finance also learned the details of innovative online practice, about career opportunities at «PrivatBank» and talked with the bank's managers. There was a very warm atmosphere during the event and a nice bonus for the students was the cookies, candy and coffee from the event organizers.
