General Information

A major element of the chair "success formula" is the high professional level of teaching staff and favourable moral climate in the collective. Over 40 subjects are taught at the department, the main ones are "Accounting (general theory)", "Financial Accounting", "Management Accounting", "Enterprises reports" , "Management of Information Systems in Analysis and Audit", "Audit", "Accounting for Foreign Trade", "Accounting and Reports in Taxation","Accounting in Budget Institutions","Accounting in Foreign Countries", "Enterprise Accounting Policy" etc.

The main Department objectives:

The formation of students’ economic knowledge, abilities and skills on the level of the state educational standards;
Creating of subjects programs and education- methodological complexes, based on modern pedagogical and research technologies;
Wide applying of modern educational technologies in teaching process;
Providing analytical direction and constant use of the problem and situational character tasks that encourage students’ activities;
Profound study of modern computer technologies in accounting.

Production training is an integral part of forming specialists. During its passage at the leading enterprises of the region the students consolidate acquired theoretical knowledge, master modern methods and forms of accounting , improve the skills and abilities, necessary for making their own decisions .
In order to facilitate the development of students creative skills and their involvement in active research activities, student scientific circle" Accountant’s Outlook " works at the department .The participants take an active part in the annual conferences and competitions, roundtable discussions on the problems of accounting system reforming in Ukraine.
