Position

The laboratory is engaged in the study of organic matter of the soil and its reproduction in soils; study of biological activity, molecular genetic biodiversity of indicators of humus state in the conditions of virginity and agrocenosis and the development of measures to ensure expanded reproduction of soil fertility; assessment of agrophysical and water-physical properties of soils and the development of measures for the prevention of agrophysical degradation; study of the physicochemical state of soils. The laboratory provided funds for the analysis of soil samples and the development of a system of fertilization of crops, determining the need for liming and gypsuming and calculating the dose of reclamation; assessment of the suitability of soils for fruit plantations and recommendations for the preservation and increase of their productivity; study of soil cover of the territory; conducting a qualitative assessment of land. The laboratory conducts research work on various scientific topics, conducts tests of masters and graduate students of the department.

The educational scientific and production laboratory of soil fertility and protection is engaged in the analysis of soil samples to determine the content of humus, the reaction of the environment, the content of nutrients and other fertility indicators; development and maintenance of resource-saving soil protection technologies for growing crops in accordance with soil and climatic conditions. Providing advice on the activities of agricultural enterprises of various forms of ownership on the rational use of land, diagnostics of soil shelter, assessment of soil fertility.
