MASTER`S EDUCATIONAL PROFESSIONAL PROGRAM
"AGROCHIMCAL SERVICE IN PRECISION AGRICULTURE"
The concept of preparation
Modern agronomy increasingly requires objectivity, manageability and convenience for analysis. As part of the preparation of bachelors in agronomy, students acquire purely technological knowledge of growing crops. Nevertheless, agricultural production is, first of all, agribusiness, which means the presence of a set of management decisions to ultimately make a profit. Effective management of agricultural resources is the basis of this process. To achieve this goal, specialists should have knowledge and skills in the technologies and tools of complex agrochemical monitoring with an assessment of soil quality and the potential of phytocenoses, and an understanding of the causes and consequences of spatial heterogeneity of soil cover within a field or farm. They must possess GIS technologies and theoretical knowledge of analyzing various layers of data related to territory conditions and technologies for growing crops. The creation of task cards and their technical implementation with differentiated fertilization and other resources, possession of various mobile applications for making effective management decisions is the summing basis for the preparation of masters of the above-mentioned program.
