Graduates of technical schools and colleges visited the humanitarians
The Open Door Day at NULES of Ukraine is one of the most important and responsible events for the University employees, as it is on this day that the entrant makes his or her choice in favor of one or another specialty.
On October 31, 2019, at the Faculty for Humanities and Pedagogical, headed by the Doctor of Philological Sciences, Professor Vasyl Shynkaruk, the Open Door Day was traditionally attended by more than 100 graduates of technical schools and colleges of Kyiv region and other territories, including students of the Kyiv Makarenko College, Berdychiv Pedagogical College, Pryluky Humanitarian and Pedagogical College named after I. Y. Franko, and some separate units of NULES of Ukraine.
Associate Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Pedagogics, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor Yaroslav Rudyk, while communicating with the graduates of technical schools and colleges, informed them about the structure of our faculty, about the licensed specialties for which education is provided, namely: "International Relations", "Philology", "Psychology", "Social work", "Journalism", focusing on new specializations "Information and communication technologies in education", "Personnel management", "Socio-psychological" rehabilitation".
Assistant Dean of the Faculty, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor Ihor Butsyk spoke in detail about each of the specialties, as well as the opportunities offered by the Faculty for Humanities and Pedagogics for the development of sports talents and promotion of healthy lifestyles. The advantages of study were emphasized - dual degree programs and free internships in Poland, Germany, China, opportunities to study foreign languages and to develop in the Rector's "Leadership School" and "School of Practical Psychology", etc.
Inna Savytska, Head of the Department of Philosophy, Candidate of Philosophy, presented to the attendees information about the "Center for Studying Foreign Languages ", "Center for Polonics", "Center for Francophone Education and Culture", internships in foreign educational establishments and double diploma programs.
Head of the Department of Pedagogy, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences Ruslan Sopivnyk invited students to study in the specialty "Vocational Education", without forgetting to remind about the existing Master's programs "Pedagogy of Higher School" and "Information and Communication Technologies in Education". He also placed special emphasis on military education opportunities while studying at our faculty.
Natalia Kostrytsya, Head of the Department of Journalism and Language Communication, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences told about the peculiarities of the educational process of future journalists, and the Head of the Department of Social Work and Rehabilitation, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences Lesia Viktorova revealed the secrets of success of graduates who studied at the specialty.
Serhiy Kubitskyi, Head of the Department of Management and Educational Technologies and a representative of the Admissions Committee, Assistant of the Department of Pedagogy Oksana Honcharuk explained the features of the upcoming introductory campaign and pointed out the differences regarding this year.
We are grateful to the students and their instructors for their visit and interest in joining the large, friendly family of the Faculty for Humanities and Pedagogics. We are sure that each of them will start their career to professional success at the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine.
