National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine, represented by the International Relations and Social Sciences administering sub-department, sincerely invites future experts in the realm of international relations, public communications and social collaboration. Among other things, training in NULES of Ukraine, the top-ranked Ukrainian university and highly regarded one in the world, provides systemic knowledge in applied political sciences, burning problems of international relations and external politics, and several foreign languages fluency skills. At the same time, the university represented by highly skilled teaching staff, scientists is concerned about the student genesis as a professional in the communications space forming-up and maintaining context as well as elaborating strategy on engagement and development of organization or subject of international collaboration and the effective tactical tools screening for the set tasks implementation.
In order to become the NULES of Ukraine student by choosing a prestigious and interesting specialty “International relations, public communications and regional studies”, you must successfully complete the external independent testing in the following subjects:
• Ukrainian Language and Literature (required);
• Foreign Language (required);
• History of Ukraine or Mathematics (optional)
and, starting on July 12, 2018, submit documents for entry electronically, defining NULES of Ukraine and specialty as the first priority. Compliance with the above-mentioned requirements will allow you, first of all, to apply for a training by public contract on a competitive base. Otherwise, you can apply for a fee-paying basis.
List of documents to be submitted to the admissions committee electronically:
• application for entry;
• a copy of the identity document (1, 2 pages and the registration place in 3 copies);
• a copy of the state standard document on the previously acquired education (education and qualification) level, on the basis of which the entry is made, and a copy of the annex to it;
• a copy of the certificate (certificates) of external independent assessment (for entrants on the basis of complete secondary education);
• four color photographs in the size of 3 x 4 cm;
• a copy of the identification number assignment certificate (3 copies).
All copies of documents submitted at the entrance to NULES of Ukraine are certified by the original admissions committee. Copies of documents without the originals are not considered.
Entrants, who are persevering and socially motivated, consistent in own choice and life priorities, will definitely achieve their goals by becoming our students. In the course of four years Bachelor’s programme, among other general and professional subjects, future students specialized in international relations will study:
• History and Theory of International Relations;
• Current Developments and Advanced Topics in International Relations;
• International Private and Public Law;
• International Economic Relations;
• External Policy of Countries All Over the World;
• Diplomatic and Consular Services;
• Foreign Languages (English, German, Polish), etc.
• Diplomatic Protocol and Etiquette;
• International Information and Information Analytics in International Relations, etc.
On graduating our university graduates can hold positions of:
• attaché;
• diplomatic agent;
• diplomatic courier;
• assistant to an expert on foreign policy issues;
• assistant to a political observer;
• secretary of a diplomatic agency;
• assistant to a foreign policy consultant;
• officer of the foreign-policy and external economic activity bodies at state administrations;
• expert, communications officer or consultant for international activities.
Be at work in:
• the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine departments at executive positions;
• diplomatic missions (attaché, communications officer, diplomatic courier, secretary of a diplomatic agency);
• government institutions and agencies, establishments (state administrations, international departments of subject ministries, etc.);
• private institutions conducting relations on the international stage (international departments of law firms, expert advisory groups, etc.);
• international intergovernmental and non-governmental organizations;
• scientific and research institutes specializing in the international relations and foreign policy among nations on the globe study.
