Anti-Epizootic Command Center: VETERINARY MEDICINE FACULTY EXPERIENCES THE GERMAN PROTECTION SYSTEM OF ANIMAL OWNERS IN THE EVENT OF EPIZOOTIC

With the support of the Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and the German-Ukrainian Agri-Policy Dialogue, on October 31, a lecture by the director of the Anti-Epizootic Command Center department of the Rhineland-Palatinate Land of Germany, Dr. Roland Labom on the theme " Anti-Epizootic Command Center desks - the German protecting system of animal owners in the event of an epizootic also for Ukraine" was held.
This topic turned out to be very interesting for both teachers and students, since in Ukraine there is a tense epizootic situation with AFS and rabies, and systems similar to German, also works effectively in other countries (the Netherlands, Belgium). It is possible for Ukraine to adapt such system for reimbursement so that in the current situation about the distribution of ACS, to give animal owners more guarantees on reimbursement and thus guarantee their economic security.
Active participation in the lecture took the director of the Institute of Animal Health Dmytro Zasekin, teachers of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, young scientists, postgraduates and students. Questions were raised about the organization and functioning of the Anti-Epizootic Command Center office in Germany. The discussion was attended by associate professor Volodymyr Polishchuk, assistant Maxim Zhukovsky, professor Vitali Nedosekov.

A special interest was the question of the possible introduction of a similar system of compensation to animal owners in Ukraine, which is of great interest to the current issues of veterinary medicine.
