The students of the faculty participated in the seminar "Modern trends in the treatment of small domestic animals", Lviv

Members of the circle "Veterinary Pharmacology and Toxicology" Chumak Katerina, Balikina Katerina and Vladislav Onipko attended a seminar "Modern Trends in the treatment of small pets" organized by the Association of Veterinary Medicine Doctors, the Association of Veterinary Medicine Specialists of Ukraine and the Center of Modern Veterinary Medicine in Lviv.

Our students received an interesting information from the reports of Sergey Tkachenko, the head doctor of the Medical Center "ELITVET" (Dnipro), on topics "Modern dentistry in veterinary medicine", " Main in veterinary stomatology" and Maria Tkachenko, a veterinary medicine doctor, a dermatologist, a retorcologist of the medical department "ELITVET "(Dnipro), on the topic" Diagnosis of infertility in male dogs"," Clinical cases in reproductionist’s practice".

Especially useful, according to the circle, was the material on therapeutic efficacy of such drugs as otflokex, ceftifur-50, thispronorm, spectrons.
And this has a reason, because the use of such combinations of broad-spectrum antibiotics and hormonal drugs is relevant in the practice of veterinary medicine. Thus, for example, the drug spectran, analogues of which is currently absent in the pharmaceutical market of Ukraine, contains amoxicillin trihydrate from the group of aminopenicillins and synthetic corticosteroid betamethasone dipropionate. Such a complex has advantages, in particular the broad range of prolonged action, the absence of an allergic reaction, the comfortable in practical use, etc. The drug is indicated for organs’ pathology of the digestive canal, respiration, genitourinary system, joints and skin.
At the moment, the circle is preparing to present the material and exchange experience gained at the seminar, at the next meeting of the circle.
