The meeting of the Educational and Methodical Commission of the Faculty was held

On February 27th, the meeting of the Educational and Methodical Commission (EMC) of Veterinary Medicine Faculty was held. Professor Volodymyr Kostyuk, head of the EMC, addressed to the commission a number of important and topical issues concerning the adaptation of the Curricula for the specialists training in specialties 211 "Veterinary Medicine" and 212 "Veterinary hygiene, sanitation and expertise" to the recommendations of the International Office of Epizootics (IOE).

The commission in particular considered the list and names of all disciplines of the above specialties. The members of the commission proposed a number of suggestions on the names and nature of individual disciplines, issues related to the formation of author's teams for the preparation of work programs and educational and methodological support for new disciplines, as well as for updating the educational and methodological provision of disciplines that are classical in the training of veterinary medicine specialists.

Professor Mykola Tsvilikhovskiy, a member of the EMC, dean of the Veterinary Medicine Faculty, emphasized the need to improve the quality of educational and methodological support of the educational process, the preparation of new educational tutorials and books in accordance with modern international requirements and standards.
A number of other issues were also outlined, including the issue of titles, nature, number, sequence of study, etc. of the discipline of the student's choice.

At the meeting of the EMC of the Faculty considered and made appropriate decisions about the expediency of publishing some of the educational and methodical direction works that came to the commission.

Volodymyr Kostyuk
