Professional orientation of the Department of Biochemistry named after Academician M.F. Gulyi is continued

On March 3, 2017, Head of the Department of Biochemistry named after Academician M.F. Gulyi of NULES of Ukraine, Professor V.A. Tomchuk conducted professional guidance sessions for high school students of the secondary school № 10 of the І-ІІІ degrees in Berdychiv-city. Pupils got meaningful information about the conditions of admission to the NULES of Ukraine, the educational process at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, the possibility of their participation in international programs and foreign practices.
Speaking to pupils, V.A. Tomchuk noted that Ukraine is, the first of all, an agrarian country, so the future is in the specialties of our university.
There are features to become a student of the NULES of Ukraine, in particular, the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in 2017:
1. For the first time in the 2017-2018 academic year, there will be a set for the degree of Master from the 1st year of study. The term of training is 6 years.
2. For the first time, there will be a set for training in the new specialty "Veterinary Hygiene, Sanitation, and Expertise".
The speaker invited pupils to attend the Open Days of the University, Olympiads on the special subjects that were being nominated for the entry. Peculiarities of student life organization were also presented: living conditions in student dormitories, participation in scientific, educational and sporting events, international cooperation of the University, convenient location of the corps of hostels of our university.

The advertising materials for senior pupils, booklets about the University, information about the rules of admission to NULES of Ukraine in 2017, which provide an opportunity to get acquainted more closely with our university and the choice of the future profession, were distributed to senior pupils.
