Education is an integral part of our project implementation. The Practicum “EU Social and Economic Inclusion: Innovations, Projecting and Policies” was attended by more than 240 representatives of students, academics, university staff and NGOs from Kyiv, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipro, Lviv, Mykolaiv, Chernivtsi. More than 75% of students and 25% of representatives of other target groups received certificates of successful completion.
The modern educational environment faces a number of contradictions: between the global and the local, the social and the individual, tradition and modernity, competition and equality of opportunity, theory and practice. These challenges became the basis of the content of the Practicum “EU Social and Economic Inclusion: Innovations, Projecting and Policies”, including the courses: “EU Practices of Inclusive Projecting”, “EU Social Inclusion Policy”, and “EU Studies of Social Innovations”. The programs are based on the practical experience of EU countries and adapted to Ukrainian realities.
The development of educational content and course support was provided by the project coordinator, Doctor of Economics, Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Professor of the Department of Production and Investment Management Lidiia Shynkaruk, project participants, Doctor of Economics, Professor of the Department of Production and Investment Management Maryna Dielini and Doctor of Economics, Professor of the Department of Production and Investment Management Emiliia Prushkivska.
Each of the courses included a structured program, blocks of lectures with multimedia support and interactive materials. Participants were able not only to gain new knowledge but also to develop key competencies necessary for professional growth, better understand European approaches to implementing social innovations, developing an inclusive society and social integration policy.
The knowledge gained allows the participants to adapt their professional activities to the conditions of martial law in Ukraine, as well as to engage in the development of new initiatives and projects in this area.
We hope that by working together we will be able to make the national socio-economic space more inclusive, innovative and socially integrated!
