Participation of scientific and pedagogical staff of NULES of Ukraine in the organization and holding of the International Scientific Conference "Human, Technology, Safety in Industry 5.0"

On May 30, 2025, the Warsaw University of Life Sciences - SGGW organized and successfully held the International Scientific Conference "Human, Technology, Safety in Industry 5.0", co-organized by the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine. The event brought together young scientists, teachers and higher education students from Poland, Ukraine and other European countries to discuss current challenges in the context of a new development paradigm - Industry 5.0.

During the opening of the international scientific conference, the Director of the Institute of Management of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences, Professor Joanna Palishkevych, delivered a welcoming speech. The conference participants were greeted by a member of the scientific committee of the conference, head of the Department of Management named after Professor J. S. Zavadskyi, Professor Tetiana Balanovska, from the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine. She emphasized the importance of cooperation between universities, thanked Polish colleagues for support of Ukrainian scientists during the period of martial law in Ukraine. She drew attention to the fact that the topic of the conference is very relevant and important for all countries, since humanity is faced daily with issues of combining human abilities, advanced technologies and concern for the environment. She emphasized the need to develop in people such skills that cannot be replaced by robots, in particular soft skills. Tetiana Balanovska also focused on the importance of applying Industry 5.0 technologies to improve the performance of Ukrainian enterprises during the period of military challenges and post-war economic recovery.

The event was held in a hybrid format, which allowed the applicants of higher education and teachers from Ukraine, Poland, and other countries to exchange experiences, present their scientific research, and participate in discussions on topical issues of sustainable development, environmental protection, and the use of modern technologies.

The moderators of the conference sections, where the applicants of higher education delivered scientific reports, were the scientific and pedagogical staff of the Department of Management named after Professor J. S. Zavadskyi of the NULES of Ukraine Tetiana Balanovska, Oksana Havrysh, Krystyna Dramaretska and Viktoriia Sotnyk. The students presented the results of their own research related to the topics of modern digital technologies, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, sustainable development, development of the agrarian sector of the economy and environmental protection.
