Traditional Meeting of 4th-Year Students of Group 10 of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine with Their Mentor
On February 14, a meeting was held between the mentor and the 4th-year students of Group 10 of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the stages of implementing the educational and training process in the second semester of the 2024-2025 academic year.
The meeting began with discussions on the organized start of the spring semester of the 2024-2025 academic year, focusing on the academic performance indicators of all 4th-year groups in the fall semester. Student attendance was also reviewed, currently standing at 82%.
Hryhorii Boiko noted that the faculty continues its work towards international accreditation. A meeting with experts was held, where a preliminary visit, scheduled for April 2025, was discussed.
Additionally, students were informed about the organization of the educational process in the second semester of the 2024-2025 academic year. Information regarding the examination session schedule was provided. The importance of responsible study habits, regular attendance, and adherence to behavioral rules under martial law conditions was emphasized. Special attention was given to the organization of practical training in the second semester of the 2024-2025 academic year. The mentor also encouraged students to actively participate in scientific circles.
The group leader, Daria Nikitina, addressed issues related to student ranking based on academic performance and extracurricular activity, the allocation of additional points, social support, and student participation in sports and cultural-patriotic events. She emphasized the importance of following behavioral rules in the dormitory and on university premises.
Students raised several concerns and received clear, concise, and well-reasoned answers.
