PARTICIPATION OF THE DEPARTMENT IN THE INTERNATIONAL SPECIALIZED EXHIBITION LABEXPO

Headed by Viktor Tomchuk, Head of the Department of Biochemistry named after Academician M.F. Gulyi, teachers Ihor Kalinin and Valerii Tsvilikhovsky took part in the International Specialized Exhibition of Equipment, Materials and Innovative Technologies - LABEXPO, which took place on October 2-4, 2024 at the International Exhibition Center.
Companies participating in the exhibition: TERRALAB, AIVISET, BIONICS LAB, GROUPTEST, DIALOG DIAGNOSTICS, ERBA DIAGNOSTICS, LABVITA, LABKEYS and others.
At their stands, the participating companies presented new laboratory equipment, control and measuring devices, integrated solutions for equipping medical and veterinary laboratories, mobile laboratories, laboratory furniture and utensils, tools and consumables, reagents, indicators, test systems and reagents, personal protective equipment, workwear and much more.
At the exhibition, the teachers of the Department of Biochemistry named after Academician M.F. Gulyi learned general theoretical information about modern methods of laboratory analysis in the field of immunochromatographic, biochemical, enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay and PCR studies.
As part of the exhibition program, the equipment presented on the Ukrainian market was analyzed and issues of cooperation between the Department of Biochemistry and suppliers of laboratory, medical and veterinary equipment were discussed.
Also, the staff of the Department of Biochemistry took part in the BIONICS LAB lottery, where they won an automatic pipette from BIO-RAD.
Professor Igor Kalinin became the lucky winner of the prize among the exhibitors. He donated an automatic pipette for 100-1000 µl to the department for the educational process.
