The Department of Biochemistry named after Academician M.F. Gulyi constantly conducts career guidance activities to attract potential applicants for admission to the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the National University of Life Sciences of Ukraine. I had the opportunity to talk to a student of the school of I-III grades №132 in Kyiv, Yulia Veremiy.
Yulia, why do you plan to enter the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the National University of Life Sciences of Ukraine?
Since childhood, I have been fond of animals, I took care of a dog, and in the summer, while on vacation at my grandmother's in the village, I watched rabbits, chickens and hens. I have visited the websites of many universities and I constantly follow the website of NULES of Ukraine, namely the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine. NUBiP is a leader in agricultural education in Ukraine, known in the world, holds high positions in the ranking lists of Ukrainian universities, and has extensive international relations. Also, some of my friends who have previously entered the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of NUBiP speak very highly of the learning environment, good material and technical facilities for conducting classes, and excellent conditions for leisure. I clearly understand that the profession I want to choose is not easy, it requires a lot of knowledge and skills, patience, and an individual approach to each patient. And a veterinarian must be a kind, sensitive, patient person. I am sure that I will succeed.
