IMPROVING THE QUALIFICATIONS OF TEACHERS OF THE DEPARTMENT

         Associate Professor of the Department of Biochemistry and Physiology of Animals named after Acad. M.F. Gulogo Valery Tsvilikhovsky took part in the conference "Diagnosis and treatment of traumatological and neurosurgical diseases in animals. Their peculiarities in wartime", which was organized by the public organization "Ukrainian Association of Veterinarians-Orthopedics, Neurosurgeons "OrthoPets". The event was held on December 15-16, 2022 in the city of Ivano-Frankivsk.

     As part of the program, issues of surgical treatment of traumatic spinal injuries, injuries of the anterior cruciate ligament, operations to remove bulky brain tumors, military field surgery in veterinary practice, fluoroscopic navigation during orthopedic and neurosurgical operations, unique capabilities of Ilizarov devices, were considered. early diagnosis of hip dysplasia in dogs, 3D modeling, printing and use of implants in veterinary medicine.

      In particular, the conference presented modern laboratory-diagnostic, clinical-diagnostic and surgical equipment, which has already proven itself well, as well as new equipment that is currently entering the market of Ukraine.
