Animal health and human safety in the field of vision of a veterinarian
The story of Anastasia Lobas, head of the 8th group, 2nd year of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, about her professional choice.
Anastasia Lobas: – "Ever since I was a child, I liked to imagine myself as a doctor and during the game to treat everyone who caught my eye - my parents, my sister, toy dolls and animals. In the graduating class, I seriously thought about my future profession - such that to devote my whole life to her.She decided right away - she chose the profession of a veterinarian.
She is extremely interesting and very versatile. I am inspired by understanding what I can do to make animals happy, giving them a new chance at a healthy life, as well as their owners.
At the same time, this is extremely difficult work, which consists of gradual and long-term professional development. The first component is an educational process that lasts 6 years at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and should continue throughout one's professional life. This requires the acquisition of professional competences, both fundamental and practical skills of working with animals and their high-quality veterinary care.
The second component of professional formation is moral adjustment and self-development, which ensures the formation of communicative qualities necessary in working with patients, their owners, and colleagues. For this, it is important to master the issues of moral ethics and develop one's own discipline.
The third component of professional success is high-quality practical training. Moreover, it is important that it takes place in production conditions with direct familiarization with real clinical situations and making professional decisions.
The fourth component of training a high-class specialist is direct work with patients, to whom you dedicate your entire professional life, saving your younger brothers.
I am happy that can study at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at NUBiP of Ukraine. This gives me the opportunity to realize my dream, confidently move towards achieving my goal and realize myself in life.
When I crossed the threshold of the faculty for the first time, I thought with fear: "What if it doesn't work out?", "And suddenly I won't like it, because the reality may not match the expectations?". But having already studied the first year at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, I understand that all the experiences were in vain! Now I am sure that if you have a goal and a desire to achieve it, no obstacles will stand in the way and the teachers will help me in this.
Considering that we are currently in difficult times - the war... I looked at many news and photos where the animals were frightened by the events happening around them and the loss of their owners. What I saw proved once again that I am on the right path, and it gives me even more motivation to work towards achieving my goal and save all those frightened little ones.
If you are still on the fence about whether to study to be a veterinarian, my advice is yes, and without hesitation! Now it is more relevant than ever because the profession of a veterinary doctor stands for the protection of all mankind. Let go of fear, it only suppresses your talents and skills. Instead of thinking, take action. After all, while someone is thinking, you can already save someone's life."
Victoria Hryshchenko: - "Fortunate are those young people who have a clear position in life, have made their professional choice and are well aware of how to achieve their goal. And for this, the entire teaching staff of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of NUBiP of Ukraine is focused on making the dreams of our students become reality, and the entire process of formation and formation of a personality and a professional was correctly coordinated and maximally oriented to the high-quality training of high-class specialists. It is to this result that all our educational activities are aimed, and this is our important contribution to the perspective of the development of the veterinary profession."
Successful studies to our students!
Satisfaction with the results of their professional activities to the teaching staff of the faculty and,in general, NUBiP of Ukraine!
