YOUNG SCIENTISTS IN THE FIRST YEAR OF EDUCATION OF THE ONP "NON-CONTAGIOUS ANIMAL PATHOLOGY" STARTED EXPERIMENTAL RESEARCH

Even in the conditions of a full-scale war, Ukrainian youth continue to develop and help Ukraine win, initiate, and implement reforms, make scientific discoveries, and generate creative projects. It should be noted that the university pays great attention to the training of graduate students and as future qualified scientific and pedagogical personnel who will take from the older generation of scientists the best experience of working with students.
In an extremely difficult and responsible time for our country, the Department of Animal Biochemistry and Physiology named after Acad. M.F. Gulogo was replenished with new young scientists in specialty 211 "Veterinary Medicine", ONP "Non-contagious Animal Pathology". Doctoral student of our department Vasyl Borisovych Todoryuk, post-graduate students Pavlo Stepanovych Khymynets, Maria Mykhaylivna Ilchyshyn - scientific consultant and supervisor, Doctor of Veterinary Sciences, professor V.I. Karpovskyi; Kovalchuk Oleksandr Oleksandrovych - scientific supervisor, Doctor of Veterinary Sciences, professor V. A. Tomchuk; Kravchuk Svitlana Volodymyrivna - scientific supervisor, Doctor of Veterinary Sciences, associate professor Zhurenko O.V.
The preparation of Doctor of Philosophy (the third educational and scientific level of higher education) is carried out in the following specialties:
211 – "Veterinary Medicine", educational program "Non-contagious Animal Pathology" with two specializations: "Biochemistry" and "Animal Physiology"
091 – "Biology" with specialization "Biochemistry"
The topics of graduate students' dissertations, the scientific direction of research, their relevance was discussed, and suggestions were made at the meeting of the department and the Academic Council of the faculty.
The scientific direction of the dissertation works is to clarify the issues of the physiology of higher nervous activity and the autonomous nervous system of animals, as well as the cortico-vegetative regulation of the physiological functions of the animal body in the state of normality and pathology; activity of blood plasma enzymes, use of nanoaquachelates.
According to the defined topics, young scientists, together with their scientific supervisors, started research at "Molicy Rivers" LLC, p. Opilsko Lviv region The Molochni Ryky agricultural company is part of a group of companies together with the well-known Zahidniy Bug agricultural holding and is actually the animal husbandry division of the latter. The company currently has three livestock farms located in two districts of the Lviv region. The total number of cattle is 1,400-1,500, and the dairy herd, including dry cows, is 950 cows of the black and spotted breed.
Experimental research, depending on the topics of graduate students, will also be conducted at Koshet LLC, which is in Zakarpattia Oblast, Mukachevo District. A closed type of pig complex with a full production cycle, the maximum number of animals in the farm is 7,000 heads, part of the biochemical research will be performed in the interdepartmental laboratory of veterinary diagnostic research of the faculty.
Therefore, we wish our young scientist’s excellent studies and successful completion of doctoral and post-graduate studies by writing dissertations and obtaining the diploma of Doctor of Philosophy in the relevant field.
