Time requirement – instructor-researcher
As you know, theory is a generalization of the experience of its predecessors. In other words, the theory helps to multiply the effectiveness of training. A person does not go through the path of his predecessors again, but receives their experience in the form of a program that he can master, and this happens in the process of so-called integration of theory into practice. Through comprehension: analysis (decomposition into parts) and new synthesis (actual construction).
In order to consolidate and deepen the theoretical knowledge gained by students in the process of studying theoretical disciplines and acquiring practical skills, as well as experience in conducting independent scientific work, a scientific and pedagogical practice is conducted at the NULES of Ukraine. Its peculiarity is the implementation of scientific and pedagogical components, each of which is reflected in the content of practice and reporting documents.
Of course, it is difficult to live and study under martial law, but students of the faculty of humanities and pedagogy of PVSH-21001m group overcome difficulties fully realizing that their main task is to become competent, highly qualified instructors who should lead the younger generation of citizens of our undoubtedly great country forward.
A traditional interview that we took from all the students and the headman of the PVSH-21001m group Kateryna Melikova the course of scientific and pedagogical practice and its results gave us the opportunity to hear the opinion of each student and see what they saw with their own eyes, and what they sincerely shared with us.
Kateryna Melikova, "The production scientific and pedagogical practice of our PVSH-21001m group began with a safety briefing and familiarizing us with the tasks of the practice. The briefing was conducted by Tetyana Oleksiivna Zubok, associate professor of the department of labor protection and environmental engineering, who revealed to all those present modern methods of protecting life under martial law, conditions for preserving one's own life and health during an air alarm, methods of protection in case of injury or chemical attack of the enemy.
Head of practice, associate professor Vasyl Hryhorovych Bazeliuk supported us on a daily basis and provided advice on organizing scientific research, writing articles and abstracts, making a report and diary. I am very grateful to the head of the master's thesis Ruslan Vasylyovych Sopivnyk who helped me write and complete the first section of my master's thesis, prepare and conduct a ascertaining experiment, and also published my first scientific article and abstracts based on the results of my master's thesis."
We share the opinion of Kateryna that there were times in our country when the practice of teaching and upbringing was opposed to science, scientific research. It was believed that science conducts a continuous search, fights against any routine, that only it has creative foundations, and practice, in return, takes only the established and proven, that is, what is beyond doubt. But modern practice proves that this contradiction is artificial and that it is the research component that brings scientific search and the educational process closer together, it stimulates creativity in practical activities, and this also contributes to scientific creativity. That is why in educational practice, special attention is paid to research activities, which gradually become an important component of the pedagogical activity of each instructor. There is no doubt that such research is aimed at obtaining subjectively new knowledge, primarily for the instructor for the purpose of his successful pedagogical activity, in contrast to scientific research, which is aimed at discovering new knowledge. Although it is worth noting that the ability to organize pedagogical research, and then summarize and show the results of their activities, is an important component of the development of the creative potential of a research instructor.
Group student Kamila Chori about scientific and pedagogical practice, she said the following, "During the internship, the opportunity is realized to integrate knowledge from professional disciplines into a single system of professional knowledge, skills and abilities, pedagogical skills and readiness for future professional activities are formed.
A positive element of industrial practice is its focus on the formation of the ability of higher education applicants to carry out creative search, perform research tasks. Scientific work is an independent implementation of a master's study of an actual problem, which corresponds to scientific principles, has a certain structure, contains the result and its own conclusions. Scientific work is the accumulation of scientific information and the selection of literature on the topic; mastering research methods and drawing up a master's thesis plan or a consistent list of the main issues that need to be covered, all this and much more we learned during scientific and pedagogical practice. What has practice given us? First of all, to look with different eyes at our future profession! To see the scientific, research part in it! Realize that a instructor cannot but be a researcher if he strives to be a master of his craft. I am very grateful to the Dean, deputy dean Professor Ihor Mykhailovych Butsyk, head of the department of pedagogy Ruslan Vasylyovych for good advice, for the warm, cozy atmosphere that reigns in our department."
We agree with Kamila in his/her, the instructor has to achieve a lot, relying on their own experience, combine knowledge with intuition, analyze the results of attempts, correct mistakes made. Even the fact that the methodological guidelines present the content and methods of organizing the activities of students (pupils) does not mean that the instructor has received a ready-made algorithm of pedagogical actions that guarantees an absolute positive effect. The instructor should make scientific achievements his own. This means that they must "rediscover" problem-based learning, differentiated, personality-oriented approaches, and much more. The pedagogical process is active and dynamic, it is constantly enriched with new achievements of social life, both spiritual and material, so it is impossible to comprehend all the secrets of pedagogy once and for all – they must be constantly discovered for themselves.
Olena Spilnyk, "In the complex realities of today, scientific and pedagogical practice is an important part of the educational process, during which the theoretical knowledge that students receive in the classroom is directly combined with the practical scientific activities of future instructors of higher educational institutions. This allows, on the one hand, to consolidate and deepen knowledge of theory, and on the other – to acquire the skills and abilities necessary for future independent teaching work. In modern conditions, science and practice are rapidly converging. In the organization of both scientific and practical activities, especially productive ones, there are many common features, namely: they are built in the logic of projects. Our master's thesis is also a kind of scientific project. The project is based on the idea, taking into account which the model is built as an image of the future system. But, in order to put this idea into practice, it is necessary to master the language of science, the appropriate terminology, understand the role and necessity of not only knowing the theory of the question, but also to study the practical state of the problem that we have chosen for research. I believe that thanks to our instructors and master's thesis supervisors, we managed to solve the first educational and scientific problems. We are thankful for help to the dean of the faculty of humanities and pedagogy Inna Mykolaivna Savytska, head of the department of pedagogy, professor Ruslan Vasylyovych Sopivnyk to all instructors of the department of pedagogy and the department of management and educational technologies , who are always ready to share their own experience and scientific heritage!»
Summing up, we note that students in their interviews focused on the fact that it is interesting and useful to engage in scientific work, but at the same time it requires significant physical strength and will, without which it is impossible to achieve results. Scientific work improves the development of the student's personality, public speaking and communication skills, contributes to more effective assimilation of knowledge in academic disciplines and rapid employment of the student in the future.
Vasyl Sukhomlynskyi in many of his works, he noted that pedagogical activity is impossible without an element of research, because already by its logic and philosophical basis it has a creative character. According to a well-known teacher, each human individual that a instructor deals with is to a certain extent a unique, unique world of thoughts, feelings, and interests. Therefore, we wish all students a successful defense of their master's theses, and most importantly, to realize themselves in professional and scientific work, to confidently act for the benefit of our country!
