The student research club ‘Innovations and Expertise in Veterinary and Sanitary Assessment of Food and Animal Feed’ was established in 2003 and is a voluntary academic community of students, founded to organise and support their research, development and innovation activities. Master’s students studying Veterinary Medicine (code 211) and Veterinary Hygiene, Sanitation and Inspection (code 212) take part in the club’s activities.
The aim of the club is to help talented students at the University explore their academic and creative potential.
The club’s main objectives are:
• to organise research and innovation activities;
• to help club members unlock their academic and creative potential;
• encouraging participation in scientific conferences, seminars, expeditions and other research and educational events;
• fostering conditions that encourage students to become actively involved in scientific activities;
• promoting the extension of university, local, national and international student cooperation in the fields of science and innovation;
• to develop links with foundations, organisations and associations in Ukraine and abroad;
• to safeguard and protect the rights and interests of the group's members;
• to promote innovative activities within the group; and - to participate in the university’s social life.
Supervisor – Associate Professor M.A. Galaburda
The club’s activities include:
1. Recruiting students and creating working groups.
2. Identifying research topics and assigning academic supervisors.
3. Laboratory and field research.
4. Presentation and preparation of reports for academic conferences.
5. Publish research outcomes in academic periodicals.
