In September, the first cycle of online lectures on the discipline of "Communication management" was held by an English-speaking guest lecturer Dr. Ijaz Yusuf, Director of the Supply Chain Research Center (University of Management and Technology, Lahore, Pakistan) at the invitation of Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor Nadia Reznik for 4th year students specialty "Management".
During the month, students had an unique opportunity to gain knowledge from the proposed by the lecturer, interesting and creatively designed in the presentation, new material.
Communication management is the creation of a system plan and its implementation during the monitoring of channels, content and feedback received from it. The main message of the lecturer for students, which they have mastered, is that communication is a creative process, and the management of communication processes and structures requires not only the manager's ability to think methodically, but also innovatively and creatively. The basic concept of teaching the course involves providing the individual with knowledge about communication – process management, facilitation methods, analysis and understanding of the socio-psychological aspect of business communication.
In particular, information about the management of processes in a crisis environment was informative and important: how to mediate conflicts using dispute resolution methods.
Students were presented with practical cases on the use of communication strategies for reputation management in the future organization and the establishment of possible relationships with stakeholders.
The second cycle of guest online lectures will continue in November.
