NUBiP of Ukraine hosted the International Webinar “Horizon Europe. Projects, Collaboration, and Partnerships”

    In order to successfully prepare competitive grant applications in the Horizon Europe program and other international and Ukrainian competitions, the National Contact Point “Food, Bioeconomy, Natural Resources, Agriculture and Environment (including related missions and partnerships)” organized the international webinar “Horizon Europe. Projects, Collaboration, and Partnerships” with the participation of European representatives of the NCP and project evaluation experts, which took place on May 18, 2021 at the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine (https: //nubip.edu.ua/horizon2020).

    Head of the Education and Research Center for International Activities, Oleksandr Labenko, and Head of NCP “Food, Bioeconomy, Natural Resources, Agriculture and Environment (including related missions and partnerships)” of NUBiP of Ukraine, Liliia Kalachniuk delivered welcoming and concluding speeches to the participants. They also moderated individual sessions of the international webinar.

 

    The first speaker, Bozena Podlaska, (The National Center for Research and Development, National Contact Point Department, Warsaw, Poland), made a presentation on “Horizon Europe, Cluster 6 "Food, Bioeconomy, Natural Resources, Agriculture and the Environment”, which focused on the characteristics of the components of this cluster.

    The second report on “QA Indicators & Feedbacks: Two Black Boxes of the EU Project Acquisition” by Prof. Dr. Vitali Altholz (Department of Business and Management, IU International University of Applied Sciences, Germany) was dedicated to the analysis of quality indicators and responses to them to obtain EU projects.

    The third speaker, Liliia Kalachniuk, NCP “Food, Bioeconomy, Natural Resources, Agriculture and Environment (including related missions and partnerships)”, NUBiP of Ukraine, focused on the possibilities of using Ukrainian and European web resources to find the necessary information at all stages of project formation as well as partnership prospects.

    The last report on “How to deal with greenhouse gas emissions?”, presented by Kostya Sichnoy, Sales, Marketing and Certification Manager, Deddens Agro | Ritter Bio Agro, Organic Ukraine West, Ukraine, Rivne region, was aimed at creating a consortium to prepare a project application Horizon Europe. It is important to pay attention to these materials of the international webinar (https://nubip.edu.ua/horizon2020) and not miss the opportunity to join the consortium to prepare a Horizon Europe project application.

   In addition, the participants were encouraged to take part in European information days by Cluster 6 “Food, Bioeconomy, Natural Resources, Agriculture and the Environment” on July 7-8, and online brokerage events on July 9, 2021.

    Participants of the international webinar actively used the chat to clarify the relevant information.
