Delegation of scientists from the Japan Wildlife Research Centre visited Institute of Forestry and Landscape-Park Management of NULESU
January 30, 2014 delegation of scientists from the Japan Wildlife Research Centre visited Institute of Forestry and Landscape-Park Management of NULESU. Delegation was represented by general director of the Centre Dr. Masahide Kubota and researchers Dr. Yoshiaki Furuhata and Dr. Tatsuya Horikiri.
During meeting with Head of International Programs of the Institute Dr. Sergiy Zibtsev and associate professor of the department of forest mensuration and forest inventory Dr. Victor Myroniuk delegation from Japan was informed about experience of the Institute in conducting research in the Chornobyl exclusion zone.
Prospects for cooperation in the area of application of remote sensing for monitoring of zones of radioactive contamination and joint radio ecological studies were discussed.
