The 49th Meeting of the Council of the Club of Quality Leaders of Ukraine and the 16th meeting of the Council of the Club of Quality Leaders of Central and Eastern Europe
The 49th Meeting of the Council of the Club of Quality Leaders of Ukraine and the 16th meeting of the Council of the Club of Quality Leaders of Central and Eastern Europe were held at the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine on October 18, 2013.
For reference. The Club of Quality Leaders of Ukraine is an association of the best Ukrainian companies that are prize-winners of the Ukrainian National Quality Competition. This competition is held annually since 1996 and is based on the Excellence Model of the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM). Its founders have set a goal to not only reward the winners but also to help the Ukrainian companies to gradually and continuously improve their work and master the most advanced European and international experience. The meetings take place quarterly at one of the companies-winners of the National Quality Award. The CEO of the company holding the next meeting of the council of the club becomes the chairman of the club and gets the mace of the chairman.
NULES of Ukraine received the honour to hold the 49th meeting as the winner of the 17th Ukrainian National Quality Competition. Among the participants were the representatives of well-known companies of Ukraine and Russia such as: Ukrainian Quality Association, "Vodokanal of St. Petersburg" State Unitary Eterprise (Russia), National Aviation University, "Institute of Oil Transportation" JSC, "Khmelnitskoblenergo" Enterprise, Sumy City Recorder of Deeds, "Umanavtodor" Enterprise, "Zhytomyr Butter Plant"," Obolon" Enterprise, " Kagma" CJSC, "Yatran" ALC.
Council members shared their experiences and secrets of success, analyzed the applicability of new techniques to the real conditions of their companies and enterprises, discussed current problems and issues of the Club, had an excursion to NULES of Ukraine, and visited the museum of its history and the Ukrainian Laboratory of Quality and Safety of Agricultural Products.
