NUBiP of Ukraine hosted "The secret of success in preparing grant applications" webinar

    In order to successfully prepare competitive grant applications in Horizon 2020, Horizon Europe and other international and Ukrainian competitions, the National Contact Point of the EU Framework Program for Research and Innovation "Horizon 2020": Food security, sustainable agriculture and forestry, marine and maritime and inland water research and the bioeconomy at the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine (https://nubip.edu.ua/horizon2020) organized "The secret of success in preparing grant applications" webinar with the participation of European and Ukrainian NCP on October 16, 2020.

    Oleksandr Labenko, Head of the Center for International Activities of NUBiP of Ukraine, welcomed the participants of the webinar on behalf of the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine. The webinar was moderated by Lilia Kalachnyuk, Head of NCP Food security, sustainable agriculture and forestry, marine and maritime and inland water research, and the bioeconomy on the basis of NUBiP of Ukraine.

     The first speaker of the webinar - Bożena Podlaska, Head of NCP Food security, sustainable agriculture and forestry, marine and maritime and inland water research and the bioeconomy, Republic of Poland (http://www.kpk.gov.pl/, http: // en. kpk.gov.pl/), made a report on "The calls and tips on how to prepare a good proposal", in which she focused on the general review of Horizon 2020 calls, especially "The European Green DEAL" and the most important elements of preparing a successful project application.
     Tetiana Kotenko, Head of NCP Innovation in SMEs on the basis of the Central Ukrainian National Technical University (Kropyvnytskyi, Ukraine), pointed out the topical calls of the above mentioned programs on the topic: "Opportunities for participation and attraction of financing by small and medium enterprises (Horizon 2020, USAID, EURECA, Ukrainian Cultural Foundation, Erasmus for young entrepreneurs and others".

     Lilia Kalachnyuk, Head of NCP Food security, sustainable agriculture and forestry, marine and maritime and inland water research, and the bioeconomy on the basis of NUBiP of Ukraine, presented the report on the topic: "Progress and prospects". The speaker demonstrated the progress, in participation of Ukrainian institutions in international calls and projects over the past two years on the example of NUBiP of Ukraine. The emphasis was laid on improving the representation of information on international calls for proposals.

       In addition, important information was provided on the possibility of joining as partners in consortia (submitting competitive project applications) on the example of participation in brokerage activities, in particular the Brokerage Event "Horizon 2020 Green Deal" held on October 14-15, 2020 .

    Webinar participants actively used the chat to clarify relevant information.
