ICA - Association for European Life Science Universities: Challenges and Opportunities

   On October 23, 2019, the 9th ICA Rectors and Deans Forum 2019 was held at UniLaSalle University (Beauvais, France).

   Traditionally, the event began with a meeting of the Association Council. The meeting was attended by Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work, International Activity and Development, Vadym Tkachuk, who is responsible for the Eastern European Region. The participants discussed the statutory issues, the need for a broader representation of the association in the European Commission, grant programs, membership increase and more.

    The forum will continue its work until October 25, 2019. This year's key topic is the opportunities and mutual benefits for collaboration between European and African agricultural and life science universities for addressing the challenges of developing a sustainable future. Overall, the forum is an excellent platform for the development of international cooperation in the field of education and science. What is more, the possibility of holding this event at NUBiP of Ukraine in 2021 is considered.
