Volkodav Viktor Volodymyrovych is a corresponding member of NAAS of Ukraine, candidate of agricultural sciences
He graduated the Ukrainian Agricultural Academy. His career at the University began in 2010 on the position of a professor of Department of "Breeding, feed production and seeds». He is the Director of Education and Research Center of Genetic Resources, Studying and Research of Breeds of NUBiP of Ukraine. He defended his candidate thesis - "Improvement of combined methods of complex evaluation of varieties of grain crops by the level of their adaptability to terms of soil-climatic zones of Ukraine" in 1998.
Sphere of scientific research:
- Seeds of cultivated plants.
- Scientific and technical examination of varieties of plants, studying and research of breeds.
V.V.Volkodav published more than 80 scientific papers and 25 scientific and methodological works.

Dupliak Olga Tymofiivna is a candidate of agricultural sciences, an associate professor. In 1976 she graduated O.M. Gorky Uman Agricultural Institute and got the qualification of scientist-agronomist. In 1985, after she finished postgraduate course at the Scientific-and-research Institute of Agriculture of Central areas of Non-black soil zone (Russia), defended her thesis "Evaluation and Selection of Initial Material in Selection of varieties of peas for mixed crops" for the degree of candidate of agricultural sciences, specialty 06.01.05 - selection and seeds. In 2003 by the decision of the Academic Council of the Institute of Agriculture UAAS she got the name of senior researcher. Author and co-author of over 60 scientific and educational works, two SOU. Research activity concerns breeding varieties of kidney bean. She is a coauthor of varieties Nymph Pearl and Shchedra. At the department she teaches following subjects: "General selection", "Breeding and Seed of Field Crops", "Breeding and Seed of Heterotic Hybrids".

In 1979 he graduated Ukrainian Agricultural Academy. He has been working at the department since 1982.
Field of research is improving methods of breeding and genetic research, creating original material and high-heterotic hybrids of corn. He is the author of over 135 publications, including 2 monographs, 19 patents on methods of breeding, self-pollination lines and hybrids of corn, scientific articles. He is a developer of Industry standards for specialty "Breeding and Genetics," Chairman of the section "Selection and Genetics» of SAS of Ukraine. Overachiever of education of Ukraine.

She started her career at the University in 2009 (2009 - 2011 - Department of Molecular Genetics and Biosafety, in 2011 - Department of Genetics and Breeding). Field of research: genetics and plant biotechnology, cell and genetic engineering, cultivation of tissues in vitro, somatic hybridization, genetic transformation of plants, plant breeding. At the department she teaches the following subjects: "Genetics".
Number of publications: Patents – 2, articles in professional journals - 8, including 2 of them in international journals, report thesis - 9.

Participation in international and government projects
He participates in the performance of state orders in following topics:
- Using a new original way of backcrosses, to get interspecific hybrids of lucerne (M. sativa x other kinds) with a given combination of performance characteristics, resistance to environmental factors and autogamy and on their grounds to breed a new variety for pastures and hayfields of long use with crop seeds in areas of Forest-steppe and Polissia of Ukraine 0.3 - 0.4 t/hectare.
- Introgression of autogamy genes into hemplazm of cultivated species of lucerne to transform their mode of reproduction and performance level.
