NUBiP of Ukraine Is Celebrating the 1530th Birthday of Kyiv

On the 12th of May 2012, a holiday “Cossack kin will live forever” to commemorate the 1530th anniversary of Kyiv was held at the campus stadium. It was organized by Educational and Research Center of Cultural, Educational and Social Work, Departments of Physical Education and Cultural Studies and supported by the United Committee of Student Hostel Councils.
The celebration started with the greetings from academicianDmytro Melnychuk, Rector of the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine, followed by Alexander Neznal, Head of District State Administration in Kyiv, and Ivan Staryk, an alumnus who graduated from the university in 1972.
Gorgeous weather favored the holiday which was a success. The lively concert as well as various sporting events put both participants and guests in an excellent mood and brought everyone enormous enjoyment.
