Sergiy Zibtsev, Professor of Forestry Department of National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine took part in the meeting of international group on forest fires in natural ecosystems

On 11-15 October, 2018 Sergiy Zibtsev, Professor of Forestry Department of NULES of Ukraine took part in Joint Meeting of the International Liaison Committee (ILC) and the Brazilian Conference Organizing Committee for the 7th International Wildland Fire and in UNISDR Wildland Fire Advisory Group (WFAG) Meeting that took place in Freiburg, Germany.

At the meeting Mr. Zibtsev spoke about condition of protection system of East European wildlands against fires.

Reports of participants from South and North America regions, Africa, Australia and New Zeeland, Central and Western Europe, Central and South East Asia were represented as well. Participants discussed questions of catastrophic fires of 2018 in Greece, which have caused death of 109 people and significant ecological and material damage.

According to the results of the meeting conclusions were formed and the following events were planned.
