Bohdana Dubrovets, a post-graduate student of ERI of Forestry and Park Gardening has stood an opportunity to train at International Institute of Applied System Analysis (Austria)

     ERI of Forestry and Park Gardening cooperates efficiently with International Institute of Applied System Analysis (IIASA, Laxenburg, Austria). Due to this cooperation, Bohdana Dubrovets, a post-graduate student, stood an opportunity to participate in IIASA’s 2018 Young Scientists Summer Program, YSSP. This program received 293 applications from different countries of the world and only 53 successfully passed the contest.

     This contest has been held since 1977. Post-graduate students whose scientific interests meet the interests of current research done by IIASA in global ecological, economic and social change can apply for this program. YSSP participants will do their own studies supervised by leading IIASA scientists from the 1st of June till the 31st of August.

     Overall 11 researchers of Forest Management department trained at IIASA between 1994 and 2014. They were P. Lakyda (1994), P. Kravets (1994), R. Vasylyshyn (2006), І. Lakyda (2011), V. Blyshchyk (2014). This training boosts the further development of participants’ research interests and encourages new links for cooperation within global forestry.
