On the basis of Fuculty of Veterinary Medicine at the Department of Surgery named after acad. I. O. Povazhenka created an educational-scientific laboratory "Blood Bank of Animals". This is the 1st Blood Bank of animals among all universities of Ukraine for veterinary faculties.
