THE CENTER OF CELL TECHNOLOGIES IN VETERINARY MEDICINE HAS BEEN UPDATED WITH NEW EQUIPMENT

Due to the request of professor A. Mazurkevych, the Center of Cell Technologies in Veterinary Medicine, which is part of the department, has recently been updated with new equipment. For the effective carrying out of scientific researches and training of scientific staff the Center has acquired a modern CO2-incubator of the company "ESCO", without which it is impossible to effectively solve the problems of science seted by the department.
CO2 incubators are intended for growing cells and for storing tissue cultures. They are successfully used by experts in extracorporal fertilization, biotechnology, tissue engineering, in scientific laboratories, in particular, in various research institutes, as well as in veterinary clinics at universities. Due to the function of automatic sterilization the risk of cell culture is eliminated.

Also, with the aim of improving the practical training of undergraduate students during the study of the disciplines like "Veterinary Immunology" and " Pathophysiology of Animals", as well as the students of the Masters of the Master's Degree Program "Cell Technologies in Veterinary Medicine and Biology" during the study of the disciplines "Molecular mechanisms of the cell and humoral immunity in animals» and «Theory and practice of using of stem cells in veterinary medicine» the Center acquired a professional biological trinocular microscope of the research class MB-505 LED Trino Plan-Achromatic and digital camera SIGETA WCAM 720P. The microscope is equipped with a revolving head for 4 lenses with a degree of correction PLAN-achromat (corrected field of view curvature, chromatic aberration, and chromatic aberration difference).

The compensating trinocular head in addition allows to install the digital camera to displaying the image on a PC monitor.
The data transmission in the digital camera is via Wi-Fi. This allows to broadcast images to multiple devices at one time (up to 3 connections). The camera contains an inside Wi-Fi module that creates a wireless network. Any device (tablet, phone, computer) with Wi-Fi will be able to connect to this network (network is password protected).

To display the image need to use a special application, which allows you to make a photo, video capture, customize the color and other settings.
