April 4, 1875 – landowner Olexandra Olexandrivna Mainova, made her will
November 30, 1891 – the agricultural and handicraft school of the first grade was opened (named after O. Mainova)
August 1, 1911 – the educational institution was reorganized into agricultural vocational school
1918 – Vocational school became a technical school
1920 - Mainivsky technical school named after Timiriazev (had the status of technical school – higher educational institution)
1930 – Mainivsky zooveterinarian technical school.
1964 – Mainivsky state farm – technical school (formed on the basis of Mainivsky zooveterinarian technical school and pedigree state farm “Druzhba”) – according to the order of the Ministry of Agriculture of Ukraine, dated August 19, 1964, № 228.
1980 – Bobrovytsia state farm – technical school - according to the order of the Ministry of Agriculture of USSR, dated August 01, 1980, № 225
1997 – Bobrovytsia state agricultural technical school - according to the order of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food, dated February 03, 1997, № 24.
2004 – Bobrovytsia state agricultural and economic technical school - according to the order of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine, dated March 04, 2004, № 62.
2006 – Separate Stuctural Subdivision of NAU “Bobrovytsia agrarian and economic technical school” - according to the order dated January 19, 2006, № 20.

Bobrovytsia college of economics and management named after O. Mainova is ALMA MATER of many generations of students and has 120 years of history.
Landowner O. Mainova started the educational institution, the highest point her philanthropic deeds being her will of April 4, 1875. She bequeathed her estate and
Agricultural and handicraft school of the first grade named in honour of the will – maker Mainivska was opened nearby Schasnivka on the thirtieth of November, 1891 – 15 years after the landowner’s death.
On August 2, 1911 the school was reorganized into Mainivsky junior agricultural vocational school where they trained carpentry and blacksmithing, tobacco-raising and bee-keeping, repairing tools and machines.
Due to reforms in education, in 1920 the educational institution got the name of Mainivsky technical school named after Timiriazev. It became a higher educational institution – to study there only those who graduated from gymnasia and had the appropriate training were admitted. Highly qualified staff from higher educational institutions of Kyiv was invited for teaching activity.
In 1930 next reorganization took place – zootechnical specialities were advanced to the front line at the technical school.
The last pre-war event of graduation from the technical school occurred on June 30, 1941, and most of employees and students went to the fronts of the Great Patritic war.
Studies at the zootechnical school were resumed in October, 1944.
True teachers helped students to be genuine people under any circumstances. First of all it is Ivan M.Tiutkalo – a real pedagogue, a teacher of chemistry, the author of 2 textbooks for special secondary educational institutions. Side by side with him the Khainatskies, H.K. Syniavska, N.O.Tolmachov, I.E. Ponomarenko, E.K. Krynytsky and many others worked – people who were selflessly devoted to their profession.
In July 1964 according to the Resolution of the Council of Ministers of URSR Mainivsky state farm – technical school was formed on the basis of Mainivsky zooveterinarian technical school and pedigree state farm “Druznba” – it was renamed Bobrovytsia state farm – technical school in 1980. Students had access to all the objects of the farm, labour posts were secured for them, they had the possibility to acquire the necessary skills to master advanced technology in animal husbandry under the guidance of specialists and experienced masters.

In 1970 Leonid H. Yakovyshin became the Director of the state farm – technical school – now he is the Hero of Ukraine, professor of corn-growing, candidate of economic sciences. Competent, energetic leader immediately began to rally initiative, efficient specialists around himself. Changes at the technical school itself took place at the same time with the changes in different areas of production. At that time P.I. Kapinos and
H.L. Kapinos, P.F. Matsak, E.I. Cherniakov, U.A. Babiichuk and N.V. Babiichuk,
N.S. Zmihrodska, H.O. Babych, I.E. Omelchuk and V.I. Norynska had the chance to show their abilities as teachers. In the pedagogical team there was created a favourable psychological climate whitch promoted successful overcoming obstacles and achieving good results in educational activities.
In 1972-1997 V.O. Cherniakova worked as the Deputy Director for Academic affairs – a competent, responsible leader, a person of restless disposition, efficient and principled, wise and humane.
On September 1, 1978 the state farm – technical school started functioning in the town of Bobrovitsia.
In 1990-1994 law department functioned at Bobrovitsia state farm – technical school.
In 1997 as a result of liquidation of Bobrovitsia state farm – technical school, Bobrovitsia state agricultural technical school was created and Anatoly B. Hordienko became its director.
