Faculty of Land Management of NUBiP of Ukraine Joins International Erasmus+ Project AGROPATH

The National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine (NUBiP) has achieved another significant milestone on the international stage the Faculty of Land Management has become a partner in the large-scale Erasmus+ project AGROPATH: Advanced Geomatics and Remote Observation for Precise Agriculture in Terms of Higher Education.

The project aims to modernize higher education in the field of precision agriculture by integrating advanced geoinformation technologies and remote sensing tools into academic curricula. Its implementation will help prepare a new generation of professionals capable of applying cutting-edge geomatics techniques in agriculture and land management.
 
The coordinator of the AGROPATH project is Professor Borys CHETVERIKOV from the Institute of Geodesy at the Lviv Polytechnic National University. The project will be implemented during 2026-2028.
 
The project consortium includes 10 universities from 6 countries:
  1. Lviv Polytechnic National University (Ukraine) — Coordinator.
  2. Warsaw University of Technology (Poland).
  3. University of Maribor (Slovenia).
  4. Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (Greece).
  5. National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine.
  6. National University of Water and Environmental Engineering (Ukraine).
  7. Vinnytsia National Agrarian University (Ukraine).
  8. Technical University of Moldova (Moldova).
  9. Ion Creangă State Pedagogical University (Moldova).
  10. Óbuda University (Hungary) — Associate Partner.
 
The project proposal from NUBiP was prepared by a dedicated team from the Faculty of Land Management, including: Taras IEVSIUKOV, Dean of the Faculty; Vyacheslav BOHDANETS, Coordinator for International Activities; Antonina MOSKALENKO, Head of the Department of Geoinformatics and Aerospace Research of the Earth; Andrii MARTYN, Head of the Department of Land Use Planning.
 
We extend our sincere thanks to Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work and International Activities, Professor Oleksandr LABENKO, for his valuable support and guidance during the preparation stage of the application.
 
There are many exciting opportunities ahead for our students and academic staff: participation in international training programs, academic mobility and internships, the development of new curricula and disciplines in geomatics, remote sensing, and precision agriculture, and collaboration with leading European universities.
 
The Faculty of Land Management of NUBiP of Ukraine is proud to be part of this ambitious initiative and looks forward to contributing to the advancement of agricultural education and research across Europe.
