Research Activity

    The Department Academic staff conducts research in the most pressing economic issues:

• formation of conceptual foundations of the current agricultural policy;

• management system development for the biological potential of the national wealth of Ukraine;
  

• rural development;
  

• improvement of farm management and market infrastructure;
  

• development of the management of agricultural enterprises according to the concept of administrative reform;
  

• elaboration of the assessment models for the analysis of the financial situation at the enterprises;
  

• development of the model of investment and credit provision of agricultural production with the implementation of land mortgage schemes.
  

    The Faculty cooperates with the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of Ukraine on drafting normative acts for implementation in Program of Economic Reforms.
    The Faculty of Economics regularly organizes conferences, debates, round tables, scientific groups, meetings of students and post-graduates with the prominent scientists, entrepreneurs, various contests, forums, intellectual game "Brain ring", presentation of research projects etc.

Uliana Paraniuk, 3rd year student of the Faculty of Economics, won the first place for the best scientific paper and presentation among Bachelor students titled "Evaluation of the Financial Market of Ukraine", Maksym Klymenko has received an Honorary Diploma.

The results of the student scientific work at the Faculty of Economics in 2013-2014:

1. All-Ukrainian student competition in the specialty "Accounting and Audit" among the agricultural universities - 2nd rank - Bulakh Maryna.

2. All-Ukrainian student competition in the specialty "Accounting and Audit" among all the universities of Ukraine – 3rd rank - Antonova Maia.
   

3. All-Ukrainian competition in the specialty "Insurance" – Lytvynets Natalia – for the best solving practical problems.
   

4. All-Ukrainian Contest of students works in "Accounting, Analysis and Audit" at the Taras Shevchenko Kyiv National University – 1st place – Vrublevska O.
   

5. All-Ukrainian Contest of the students works in "Finance and Credit" – 2nd rank – Julia Poshchuk.
   

6. The 5th International Scientific and Practical Conference "Problems and prospects of the Development of Accounting, Analysis and Control" - Pyrozhyk Maria – 1st place; Kopylov Yehor – 1st place for the section presentation.
   

7. Team of the Faculty of Economics at the "Exchange Activity Student Games-2013" won 4th place among 67 Universities teams of the country.
